Kiss and make up.
This morning during breakfast two of my children began to argue and then called each other "stinky." I asked them about the Golden Rule and if Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ would be happy at their behavior. Then I asked them what they needed to do to fix this situation.
My daughter, SJ, said, "We need to say sorry."
I said, "Well, go say sorry to your brother."
SJ-"He isn't saying sorry."
"You should go first and then he will say sorry."
She went over to him and gave him a hug. She tried to kiss him, but he pulled himself away. His hug wasn't very welcoming. She was upset he did not let him kiss her. I asked him about it. He said, "I'm don't want her to kiss me. I'm not into that mess!!" I had to leave the room because I wanted to laugh.
