From my mother's many children in her life:
A little girl in Kindergarten was sent home from school with a note. It was letting her mother know she had a social problem-talking too much to her neighbor. After reading the note and speaking to the teacher, the mother told her daughter she needed to stop visiting during class time.
The girl worriedly replied, "If I do stop talking I am going to forget how to do it. Do you want a mute for a daughter?"
